The Ramzan Nigehban Relief Package 2026 has been officially launched by the Punjab Government to support approximately 4.2 million families. This year, the program provides a one-time cash payment of Rs. 10,000 alongside essential food rations.
The registration deadline is February 15, 2026.
How to Register (Online & SMS)
The Punjab government has linked all relief programs to the Punjab Socio-Economic Registry (PSER). You must be registered in PSER to receive the Rs. 10,000 payment.
Method A: SMS Check (8070)
- Open your mobile SMS app.
- Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
- Send it to 8070.
- Possible Replies:
- “You are eligible”: You are already in the system and will receive the payment.
- “Please register via PSER”: You must complete the online registration form.
Method B: Online Portal (PSER)
- Visit the official portal: pser.punjab.gov.pk.
- Click on “Register New Family” or “Apply for Nigehban Ramzan Package.”
- Enter your CNIC and mobile number to receive an OTP.
- Complete the household survey (income, family members, and utility bills).
- Submit the form. Your data will be verified by NADRA and the PSER database.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Rs. 10,000 and the ration bag, you must meet these conditions:
- Residence: Must be a permanent resident of Punjab.
- Income: Monthly household income should be below Rs. 60,000.
- Poverty Score: A PMT score below 30–32 (determined by the survey).
- Exclusions: Government employees, pensioners with high income, and vehicle owners (except motorcycles) are generally ineligible.
- Priority Groups: Widows, persons with disabilities, and daily wage earners are prioritized.
3. Benefits: What You Receive
- Cash Assistance: Rs. 10,000 (delivered via the Nigehban Card or biometric bank transfer).
- Muft Rashan Bag: 10kg Flour, 2kg Sugar, 2kg Ghee, 2kg Rice, and 1kg Chickpeas.
- Subsidized Rates: Access to further discounts at Utility Stores and Sasta Bazaars.
How to Withdraw the Rs. 10,000
Once approved, you will receive a confirmation SMS. You can collect your cash through:
- Bank of Punjab (BOP) ATMs (using the Nigehban Card).
- Biometric Agents: HBL Konnect, UBL Omni, or JazzCash/EasyPaisa points by showing your CNIC and performing a thumbprint scan.
- Nigehban Card: Some beneficiaries are being issued smart cards for direct use at points of sale.

- Deadline: Complete your PSER registration by February 15, 2026, to ensure your name is on the final list before Ramadan starts.
