The 9999 Web Portal and SMS Service are the latest official tools introduced for the PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026. This program provides Rs. 5,000 cash assistance (distributed in three installments of Rs. 3,333) and subsidized rations to low-income families across Pakistan.

While the Punjab-specific Nigehban Package uses the code 8070, the 9999 code serves as the primary gateway for the federal and nationwide relief initiatives this year.

1. How to Check Eligibility & Apply (9999)

You can check if your household is selected for the Rs. 5,000 cash aid through the following two methods:

Method A: SMS Check (No Internet Required)

  • Step 1: Open your mobile SMS app.
  • Step 2: Type your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes).
  • Step 3: Send the message to 9999.
  • Step 4: You will receive a reply indicating your eligibility status. If eligible, the message will contain instructions on how to collect your first installment.

Method B: 9999 Web Portal Online

  1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official 9999 web portal (integrated with pser.punjab.gov.pk or the national BISP/Ehsaas database).
  2. Enter CNIC: Input your 13-digit ID number.
  3. Captcha: Enter the security code displayed on the screen.
  4. Check Status: Click “Submit” to see your eligibility, payment history, and any pending installments.

2. Payment Structure: Rs. 5,000 or Rs. 9,999?

There are two levels of support being reported for the 2026 cycle depending on your poverty score:

  • Standard Cash Aid: Rs. 5,000 (One-time payment for relief).
  • Extended Ramzan Support: Rs. 9,999 (Total amount divided into 3 installments of Rs. 3,333 throughout the month of Ramadan).

To receive the cash via the 9999 portal, you must meet these requirements:

  • Poverty Score (PMT): Generally, your PMT score must be below 32.
  • Income: Monthly household income should be below Rs. 50,000.
  • SIM Ownership: For the SMS method, the SIM card must be registered in the applicant’s own name.
  • Excluded: Government employees and those already receiving high-value subsidies are typically not eligible.

4. How to Collect Your Cash

Once you receive an “Eligible” message from 9999:

  1. Visit Agent: Go to a biometric-enabled point (e.g., HBL Konnect, Bank of Punjab, or UBL Omni).
  2. Verification: Perform your thumbprint (biometric) verification.
  3. Receive Cash: The agent will provide the cash. Important: The service is free; do not pay any “commission” or “fee” to the agent.

Warning: Be cautious of unofficial websites or 10-digit mobile numbers sending “award” messages. Official government alerts for this scheme will only come from 9999 or 8171.
