8171 Validation Portal8171 Validation Portal

the 8171 Validation Portal has been fully updated to reflect the latest National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) data. This portal is the primary tool for families in Pakistan to check their eligibility for the Benazir Kafalat Program, which has seen its quarterly installment increased to Rs. 13,500 for the 2026 cycle.

How to Check 8171 Eligibility Online (2026)

The online portal is the most transparent way to verify if your payment has been released or if you need to update your survey.

  1. Visit the Official Site: Go to 8171.bisp.gov.pk.
  2. Enter Your CNIC: Input your 13-digit Computerized National Identity Card number without any spaces or dashes.
  3. Security Captcha: You will see a 4-digit number in an image; type this number into the box provided.
  4. Submit: Click the “Check Eligibility” or “Find Out” button.
    • “Eligible”: You are cleared for the Rs. 13,500 payment.
    • “Ineligible”: Your poverty score (PMT) is above the threshold (currently 32).
    • “No Record Found”: You must visit a BISP office to begin the NSER Dynamic Survey.

Check Status via SMS (8171)

If you are in an area with poor internet, you can use the mobile service:

  • SMS: Type your 13-digit CNIC and send it to 8171.
  • Response: You will receive a detailed message regarding your current balance and eligibility status.
  • Important: Only trust messages from 8171. The government never uses 10-digit mobile numbers to send BISP alerts.

Registration Requirements for 2026

There is no online registration form for 8171. To register, you must follow these steps:

  • Visit BISP Tehsil Office: The head of the household (female) should go to the nearest center.
  • Documents Needed: Original CNIC, children’s B-Form, and a recent electricity or gas bill.
  • NSER Dynamic Survey: You will be asked questions about your house type, livestock, and monthly income (which must be below Rs. 60,000 for most categories).
  • Biometric: Your thumbprints will be taken to secure your digital account.

Payment Collection & Digital Wallets

In 2026, the collection process has become more digital to avoid queues:

  • Partner Banks: Withdraw from Bank of Punjab (BOP) or HBL ATMs using biometric verification.
  • Mobile Wallets: Many beneficiaries now receive funds directly into verified JazzCash or EasyPaisa accounts.
  • Zero Deduction Policy: You are entitled to the full Rs. 13,500. If any agent tries to deduct a “fee,” report them immediately to the BISP helpline at 0800-26477.
