The CM Punjab Bike Scheme 2026 is now entering its newest phase, offering 20,000+ electric and petrol bikes to students on interest-free installments. The registration deadline for the current phase is February 15, 2026.
The scheme is specifically designed to help students of public and private universities/colleges manage their daily commute costs.
How to Apply Online (Step-by-Step)
The application process is handled through the PITB (Punjab Information Technology Board) portal.
- Official Portal: Visit ebike.punjab.gov.pk.
- Register Account: Click “Register” and enter your CNIC, active email, and mobile number.
- Login: Use your CNIC and the password you created to log in to the dashboard.
- Fill Application: Select your bike type (Electric or Petrol) and enter your educational details (University, Semester, and Marks).
- Upload Documents: You must upload clear scans of your:
- CNIC / B-Form
- Punjab Domicile
- Student ID Card or Enrollment Letter
- Learner’s Permit or Driving License (Mandatory)
- Submit: Review all fields and submit. You will receive an application ID via SMS for tracking.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered in the digital balloting, you must meet these requirements:
- Student Status: Must be a regular student of a degree college or university in Punjab (HEC recognized).
- Age: 18 years or older at the time of application.
- License: Must have at least a Motorcycle Learner’s Permit or a valid Driving License.
- Residency: Permanent resident of Punjab.
- Selection: In case of more applicants than bikes, a transparent e-balloting will take place in late February 2026.

The government covers the interest (markup) and a portion of the down payment to keep it affordable for students.

- Don’t have a license? You can apply with a Learner’s Permit, but the bank will require a full driving license before the final bike handover.
- AIOU/VU Students: In 2026, students from Virtual University and Allama Iqbal Open University are eligible, provided they are residents of Punjab.
- One per Family: Only one student per family can apply to ensure fair distribution.
