The Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme 2026 (Phase II) is currently open for applications. This initiative by Maryam Nawaz aims to provide 110,000 high-performance, 13th Generation Core i7 laptops to talented students in public sector institutions across Punjab.
The deadline for registration is February 15, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a laptop in this phase, students must meet the following requirements:
- Domicile: Must have a permanent Punjab Domicile.
- Academic Enrollment:
- BS Programs: Currently enrolled in the 1st or 2nd Semester (or 1st Year) of a 4-year BS program.
- Professional Degrees: Students in the 1st Professional Year of Medical, Dental (MBBS/BDS), DVM, or Nursing programs.
- Academic Merit:
- BS/Nursing: Minimum 65% marks in Intermediate.
- Medical & Dental: Minimum 80% marks in Intermediate.
- Institution: Must be enrolled in a Public Sector University, Government College, or Medical/Dental College.
- Exclusions: Students who have previously received a laptop from any government scheme or those currently employed (public or private) are not eligible.
How to Apply Online (Step-by-Step)
The application process is handled through the dedicated Higher Education Department (HED) portal.
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to cmlaptophed.punjab.gov.pk.
- Create an Account: Register using your CNIC/B-Form number, active mobile number, and email address. You will receive an OTP to verify your contact details.
- Fill Personal Information: Enter your full name, father’s name, and address exactly as they appear on your CNIC.
- Academic Details: Select your university/college, current semester, and enter your previous academic marks (Intermediate/Matric).
- Upload Documents: You will need clear scans of:
- CNIC/B-Form (Front & Back).
- Punjab Domicile Certificate.
- Intermediate Result Card.
- Enrollment Proof (University ID card or Fee Challan).
- Submit & Track: Review your data and submit. Save the application ID to track your status on the same portal.
Required Documents & Affidavit
- Affidavit: A key requirement for Phase II is a Sample Affidavit (available for download on the portal). This must be printed on stamp paper, signed by you and a witness, and then uploaded.
- Photo: A recent passport-size photograph with a blue or white background.
